Open daily (except Tuesdays) for drinks, The Fox at Ryton has recently been refurbished and Manager Steve and the team invite you to sit back, relax, enjoy the warm atmosphere and views over the South Shropshire hills. With a wide selection of ales, lagers, wines and cocktails, our dog-friendly, family-friendly pub is in the heart of the beautiful village of Ryton.

After our much-loved 17th century public house closed in 2022, the local community rallied round to secure the future of The Fox and bring it back to life as a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable community hub. Funded by a government grant, the local community, and with support from the Parish Council and other funding bodies, The Fox reopened in December 2025 with General Manager Steve Lee in charge.
'More than just a pub': our vision is for The Fox to be a destination hub that combines excellent food and drink with true community spirit.
We can't wait to see what the future holds and invite you to join us on the journey!
