The Fox at Ryton is community-owned and government funded, but to be a sustainable asset for the ongoing benefit of the community, it must be a profitable commercial enterprise. As such, and as set out in the Business Plan, the Board will employ a General Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of The Fox.

The Fox will be overseen by a Management Board (the Board), elected from, and by the Members (Shareholders). The role of the Board will be of strategy and oversight, and of support for the General Manager.

Our aim is to have a Management Board that represents all elements of our Community and is diverse and inclusive of all backgrounds, genders, ages and abilities
